Nestled in the serene countryside, my recent stay at Rural Casa De Samaioes was a tranquil retreat from the bustling city life. The former nobleman's house, dating back to the 17th century, exuded a sense of history and rural charm. The friendly and accommodating staff made me feel right at home. The breakfast spread, with its freshly squeezed orange juice and assortment of croissants and fruits, was a delightful start to my mornings.Exploring the property, I discovered a plethora of facilities like a pool table and sauna, adding to the overall experience. However, a lack of communication about the operational status of these amenities was a slight drawback.The outdoor pool area was a highlight, offering a peaceful oasis to unwind after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings. The hotel's spa services provided the perfect opportunity to pamper myself and rejuvenate.Although the room was on the smaller side, the impeccable cleanliness and well-maintained premises more than made up for it. The stunning views from the dining room added to the charm of this historic property. My stay was a calming and rejuvenating experience, and I look forward to returning to this tranquil haven in the future.
